Me in Teotihucan
Me in Teotihuacan

I’m an assistant professor of English at the University of Oklahoma, where I teach courses in Native literature and rhetorics for our Literature and Cultural Studies track and our Composition, Literacy, and Rhetoric (CRL) track. As a teacher, my work is invested in respecting and recognizing the multiple kinds of literacies and modalities available to students as they compose in/for diverse audiences, sites, and contexts. As a scholar who is invested in Indigenous Rhetorics and Indigenous communities, my research pushes at disciplinary borders in order to better account for the relationships between and among land, bodies, and technology from the perspective of Indigenous thought. In my spare time I binge-watch T.V. shows on Netflix and Hulu.
