I’m an assistant professor of Cultural Rhetorics at the University of Colorado. As a teacher, my work is invested in respecting and recognizing the multiple kinds of literacies and modalities available to students as they compose in/for diverse audiences, sites, and contexts. As a scholar who is invested in Chicanx/a/o and Indigenous Rhetorics and communities, my research pushes at disciplinary borders in order to better account for the relationships between and among land, bodies, and technology from the perspective of Indigenous thought. In my spare time I binge-watch T.V. shows on Netflix and Hulu.
